Job application tracker spreadsheet: keep every job you apply for in one list, and let the sheet work out when to follow up. The dashboard shows what needs your attention today, how many employers responded, your interview rate and your upcoming interviews.
WHAT IT DOES
- Applications tab: date applied, company, job title, location, work type (on site, hybrid, remote), source, posting link, salary listed, status, last contact, contact name and notes
- Follow-up dates worked out for you: last contact (or the date you applied) plus the number of days you choose. Type your own date to override it. Rows turn amber when a follow-up is due
- 10 starter statuses from Applied to Accepted. Rename them or add your own, and choose which ones count as open, responded, interviewed or offer
- Dashboard: applications sent, still open, responses and response rate, interviews and interview rate, offers, follow-ups due now, average days waiting, applications this week against your weekly goal, upcoming interviews
- Lists on the dashboard: the 10 earliest follow-ups and the next 5 interviews, plus your pipeline by status
- Two charts: applications by status and applications per week for the last 12 weeks
- Interviews tab: date, time, round, format, who you met, prep notes, the questions they asked, thank-you sent and next step. Upcoming interviews are highlighted
- Offers tab: compare up to 3 offers side by side (salary, bonus, sign-on bonus, retirement match, benefits value, paid days off, remote days, commute) with first-year and yearly totals, commute hours per year and a weighted score from your own 1 to 5 ratings
- Room for 500 applications and 200 interviews. Salary fields are plain numbers, so any currency works
